Following the Home Show in 2017, my wife and I met an interior designer to seek advice regarding renovations that included revamping our laundry and main living areas. We wanted to add a gas fireplace, build in some hidden sliding doors to the kid’s TV room, refresh the laundry and switch to on demand gas for our hot water. We were struggling to form a clear image in our mind of what we wanted and that we could agree upon as a couple. After we had agreed on the concept with the interior designer, we were then introduced to Brad Schmidt from Graphic Building Company as a prospective builder.
Brad visited our home and very quickly we formed a very positive feeling about him and the company. Brad offered good practical ideas and some clever design concepts. We had no hesitation in moving forward with Brad and soon embarked on the project. With good creative ideas and good tradespeople, the project was completed with professionalism and consideration.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome and love our new spaces. The house is much quieter when the kids are watching their TV or have friends over (which is quite often with 3 teenagers in the house!!). Winter is now a time we enjoyed. Firstly, we don’t run low on hot water any more and we now enjoy many cosy nights settled around the new fireplace, watching the footy on our new TV that sits within a great feature wall. The laundry is fresh and more functional. All the work was completed to high standard with great attention to detail.
Brad and his team were really aware of the impact that a renovation has on a family and went to great ends to ensure they kept our home as tidy as possible. Before leaving each day, they did a tidy up and ensured we were aware of any issues we needed to know about. During their work on site, they were all courteous and professional …. Just good guys!
